eat this, metro

yesterday sucked-ass… i’ve been trying to leave 5-10 minutes early so i can meet eric @ the metro station and then we drive home together with deck… but surprise, surprise – there was a metro “issue” and they were single-tracking so i knew my commute home would be awful… after being offloaded twice and then having to wait for a bus – i was in the door by 7:00… that’s over 2 hours after i left work… i was angry, frustrated, and upset since i missed deck’s dinnertime and only  had about 1/2 hour with him before we had to start planning for bedtime… i hate working downtown for this reason and i know metro is usually pretty good, but when it’s not – i hate it with a passion… i just wish my job let us work from home a few days a week or was just closer to home in general… :(

on a good note – deck is feeling better and daycare sent a pic of him in the pool… my little baby is growing-up so fast! :)
