endless possibilities
our new cabinets were installed last friday and i couldn’t be happier with the end-rsult! they fit right into our kitchen, like they were always meant to be there – so just another week until the countertop is installed and we’re done… i’ve started to move a few small appliances into the pantry, but ran out of shelf liner and need to go back to tar-jay for more… and as you can barely see, i’ve started painting and have a long way to go before i’m finished… either way, i’m glad we went w/the cabinet route (though more $$) because it will benefit us when it comes time to sell the house…
we also bought a firepit for the back patio… the previous owners left us one, but it’s pretty small so we headed to lowe’s and found this one for around $130… it’s the perfect size and it even coame with a cover (much to my hubby’s surprise)… we tried it out on saturday night and enjoyed a bottle of wine while listening to strange sounds in the woods behind our house… i’m looking forward to many more of these evenings!
other than being busy around the house – i’ve been pretty busy at work… i’m working on our annual report right now and even though it’s one of our most important publications of the year – it really hasn’t been that bad this year… the president loved my design, the photography went well, and the editing hasn’t been bad – all in all, not bad for my 4th time… i can’t wait for this to go to the printer on tuesday (fingers-crossed)…
as for me – i haven’t been feeling great for the past few days… upset stomach and was really achy last night (even paid a visit to the porcelain bowl)… i hope it’s just a virus and goes away soon – haven’t had much of an appetite either…ugh, i hate feeling this way…
