Happy Hump Day! Scale didn’t go up or down, so I count that as a success… I really felt like I overdid things this weekend – BBQ on both Saturday and Sunday, plus I had pasta for dinner last night and that always sits in my stomach… I suppose I would’ve seen a loss, but whatever – moving on… I did buy some DVDs today – Julian Michael’s 30-Day Shred is pretty popular in the blog-world, so maybe I’ll give it a try (it was cheap)…

Let’s see, what else has been going on… I made a change to our camping reservation this morning – the campground we go to and love now has cabins… What? I’m not sure how I missed this, but luckily – 3 were still open for the week of Labor Day so we said “what the heck, let’s try it”… It has 2 rooms (1 with a queen-size bed and 1 with bunk beds), AC, electric, small fridge, and screened-in porch… They’re also located on the side that has the bigger bathhouse which is important when you’re ready to take a shower and or use the facilities – waiting sucks when your bathing suit is full of sand… I think staying in a cabin might be a better option this year anyway since this will be the 1st time we’re taking Deck camping and we have no idea how he’ll react or behave… And if the weather’s bad – we don’t have to worry about a leaky tent…

As I posted yesterday, I bought myself a new camera… I’m pretty excited and hope this sparks my love of photography again… I wasn’t willing to spend a ton of money, since I know I’m not going to go into business, but once I saw the deal and read about it on Consumer Reports – I jumped at the offer… Maybe I’ll have it in time to take along to the fair on Saturday – we’re going to see the draft horses, per Deck’s request (and mommy’s too)…

And for those of you that are wondering about the shark picture – it’s Shark Week on the Discovery Channel, and the main office is in Silver Spring (where I happy pass everyday on the way home from work)… He wasn’t up last year so it’s always a good thing when he’s back… And for the tadpoles – they appeared last week and we’re not sure what to do with them since they live in the pool and we really want to use it this weekend… /sigh/
