I think my scale is broken because it won’t go under 206… On a good note – I lost another inch this month, so there’s progress with the tape measure at least, and I also started a new weight routine yesterday… Sorry that I don’t have more progress to share, this is really more difficult than I thought it would be… Maybe I’ll just update you guys once a month…

Our weekend was relatively quiet – stuck around the house on Saturday and played in the pool for a while… We had to find a new home for our tadpoles first, and they’re living in a bucket for now until we release them into the wild… Deck went to bed crazy early (6:30) on Saturday night and wasn’t himself the next morning when we got up to go to the fair… He was listless and pretty quiet, and looking back – we should’ve stayed home because I think he had some sort of 24-hour bug… The fair was okay and not as fun as it could’ve been, since he was under the weather, plus it was hot… When we got home – he took a long nap and woke up acting/feeling much better, and then devoured lunch like there was no tomorrow… By Sunday night he was fine, thank god, and then the weekend was over… /sigh/

This weekend we’re headed to Pittsburgh to visit the family – we’re actually leaving tomorrow night, staying w/Eric’s brother, and then hitting the Pittsbrugh Zoo on Friday… I can’t wait since Deck should be much more interested and interactive this time… And on Saturday – we’ll be hitting the Butler County Farm Show – I know, I know, but it’s fair season people! Have to go to these things when you can… I hope we can see some draft horses up close and personal and if not, maybe a corn dog is in my near future…

Tonight it’s a belated birthday dinner w/a friend and my week’s almost over…

Happy Hump Day!

Checking out the farm equipment…

Taking a break from swimming…

No need for “sorry”, keep strong you are doing what you can. Enjoy your time away. Glad to hear the baby is feeling better. Safe travels.

  2. I think I lost track of you when you switched to WordPress and went back to work. So I had not seen pictures of your son since he was just a few weeks old. VERY CUTE. I went back and enjoyed all of the pics of your son growing and your new house. Congrats on the move. So sorry you are struggling with your weight and feet. You were very smart to get elliptical to save impact on feet. I broke my foot last may and have been/still am in cast. Just got permission to get on elliptical with boot/cast on. Feels like starting over. Have been able to do Pilates and free weights with careful positioning around boot/cast this whole time. My oldest is 22 and moving to east coast to start grad school. yes, it goes very quickly as you wrote (maybe on your son’s birthday).

So, what do you think ?
